Mirror Mirror…On the Wall…

Mirrors are pieces of art that are useful. Everyone tends to have a different eye for furniture and that is truly expressed through an individual’s home. For that, I carry mirrors that appeal to many different eyes. Mirrors tend to be a necessity so why wouldn’t you want it to express your sense of style? A extensive mirror can be adorned on a simple wall to add drama while a simple mirror can compliment an intricate wall paper or wall. Mirrors reflect beauty so the idea is to have beauty in the piece of furniture that you’re gazing into.

When you look into these mirrors no matter what looks back; despair, beauty, love, stress, exhaustiveness or hate, these mirrors will stay pure in their artistic nature. They can make a room seem larger, make a statement and serve a purpose all at the same time. There are so many to choose from-full length that are really necessary in every home and decorative mirrors that also serve their purpose.  I like to put decorative mirrors in bathrooms or hallways to brighten them up.

Some mirrors in Henrietta’s Hippo are from the same Italian designer. These mirrors are beautifully made, they have pearl beading around the edge, gold crown molding frames and porcelain lilies.. These art pieces look great by themselves or in a grouping. They would look great in a kitchen. They are whimsical and beautiful.  I also carry mirrors that are oversized and chunky they are made out of metal which are some of my favorites. These particular  pieces can make a small unadorned room, look larger and artstic.

The mirrors with the heavy frames remind me of the Catholic art I so adore, something you would find in a cathedral. A large oversized mirror can be a dramatic piece for a living space.

From our home to yours,

  1. I love the large mirror in that dining room! It really adds a whole other dimension and it’s almost like having a room within a room. So cool.

  2. Very cute! Definitely something I will need to look into. It adds such character!
